There have been thousands of books written about fairies from a human perspective but this is the first time humanity has willingly published a book of technical faery stories: meaning the stories FAE narrate about humans! This work is a small initiative to regain the balance of output in the category which has long exploited the entire idea of faeries without investigation as to what the word even means. This attempt to convey information between two worlds which actively deny each other's existence while one party continues to make money off of [just the idea of] the other party -all while simultaneously mocking them!- is unparalleled since the days of Charlemagne. The territory and climate henceforth between Fae and humanity (now that one Faery has had even a small say) will be unprecedented.
This is a book of Fae lamentations the likes of which have never been revealed, lamentations on the ways humans intentionally waste time and opportunities and then behave as though this is entirely unavoidable. Fairies, involuntarily but inexorably, have a very different perspective on how mortal time is spent and many sorrows therof. This book is about how it has never occurred to humans that fairies have a hard time dealing with said humans. It's about how fae have not only feelings but standards which remain steadfast whether they like it or not which was, of course the problem between these two groups in the first place. As displayed in historical records about supposed Faery children entering the mortal world (such as the accounts of The Green Children of Woolpit) humans have shown that when faced with one they are quick to demand that the Fae are supposed to learn all human etiquette. However humans have stubbornly refused for 1000+ years to learn any fairy etiquette! In that way this project is a wider critique about how we all choose to interact with each other.
