A Monster In School Journeys You'll Never Forget

Inside this book are six extraordinary stories that were told by a traveler on his way to celebrate the most beloved holiday of the year, Tra-La-La Day. These whimsical tales were passed down for centuries, bringing wonder and joy to all who heard them-and now they're being passed down to you.

Melody learns how a musician's song almost ruined Tra-La-La Day and why the people of her town sing the song only once a year.

Charley wants to win the "Vogsetter Tra-La-La Day Centerpiece Contest," until he discovers a problem with the contest that could threaten his entire town.

The Iceling Queen must face a menacing creature that wants to end the Spirit of Humans, but if she doesn't return to her castle before sunset, she will turn into a flurry of snow and be lost forever.

Mageltine drops a wish down the Frivoldene Well, but the way her wish is granted may drive her whole town insane.

Crispin wants to become a hero and comes up with a plan for saving his school on Tra-La-La Day-though it could destroy the school as well.

Every child in Bridledon is afraid of Miss Pinberry, until a lost traveler learns of her plan to control the town's children.

Tales For Tra-La-La Day is the final anthology book in Steve Michael Reedy's Monkey Mind Tales(R) book series. It's a holiday book, and Reedy delved deep into his imagination to painstakingly craft each story with rhythmic prose, fantastical characters, skillful rhymes, and mystical mayhem. With both wit and wisdom, Reedy continues to explore themes that are universal to us all, while creating a magical holiday that readers will want to celebrate again and again.

Steve Reedy, MA, LPC, began writing at age ten when his younger sister asked him to write a short story for her English class. The story went on to win his sister several awards. Later he decided to write his own stories and win his own awards. He received his undergraduate degree in Theatre, Film, and Television at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received a master's degree in counseling at Argosy University's College of Psychology and Behavioral Science in Dallas, Texas, and is a licensed professional counselor. Reedy also holds licenses in varying forms of bodywork and teaches classes in Reiki, yoga, and meditation. He teaches as an adjunct professor, and has experience teaching and counseling children, the latter lead him to be featured in "Dallas Child Magazine."
