See photos for condition details. Hardcover, inscribed and signed by the author on the half title page. Blue cloth boards show spotting and soiling along with a few small bumps and dents. The upper left corner area of the front board has a few whitish spots and lines. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. No handwriting or signatures other than that from the author. No bookplates, no library markings. Ages are toned due to age and there is some minor spotting and smudge marks, though this is mainly limited to the end pages and pastedowns. Copyright page states third printing of February 8, 1939.

Yesterday's Book Shop is a small, family-owned establishment. The store first opened in Maryland in 1966 under the name The Collector's Corner, which mainly dealt in older books, stamps and assorted ephemera. In 1975 the name was changed to Yesterday's Book Shop when the main focus became only books and printed matter.
