Written by Philip Bertram Murray Allan, a British lepidopterist and writer whose works were typically published under the initials "O.M.H." or "An Old Moth-Hunter". He is also known for running the publishing house Philip Allan and Company. In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear. Minor fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot, particularly to the endpapers. Very Good Indeed. book.
