Coperta in mezza pelle; piatti marmorizzati. Ottimo stato di conservazione generale. Esemplare accompagnato dalle illustrazioni di Gerda Wegener, celebre pittrice danese, di stile prettamente Art Decò e con una forte carica erotica e mondana, in linea con il contenuto del testo. Il romanzo infatti, è una raccolta di racconti di carattere romantico ambientato nella Francia del Settecento. Il titolo fa riferimento ai Talon Rouges ovvero i tacchi rossi che in questo contesto diventano simbolo di seduzione, vanità ed erotismo. Formato: In 4°.
