About the Author

The author of Taming the Telomeres, R.N. Shapiro, researched "Taming" for nearly three years before completing the manuscript. Rick drew from his experiences as a trial attorney and as a Capitol Hill staff assistant before law school. Rick resided in the Washington, D.C. area during college and law school, and explored Middleburg, Virginia, Georgetown, and several of the geographical areas that appear in Taming the Telomeres, and has travelled to the Far East in connection with his inventions.
