About the Author
Gitty Gold was born in Beer Sheba, Israel on the first day of Chanukah in 1964. Her father, a Holocaust survival, wanted to give her a life that was better than the life he had led in Romania. As a result of the bad memories and the trauma he suffer as a Jew in Europe during the war, he decided to lead his life here up without any religious symbols. His daughter Gitty had an interesting life; she studied ballet and passed the Royal Academy of London tests. After her marriage she lived in Italy for 12 years, studied interior decoration in the Art Academy in Milan and became a religious orthodox woman.
