A Tangled Web

The premiere of Jazz singer Olivia Maitland’s life story is being filmed in London. The book caused a furore when it was first published over fifty years ago, the threads of the story being woven together with a potent mixture of fame, wealth, drugs and murder. However the ghost-writer is the only person left alive who has extracted the truth from the tangled web of lies hidden within its pages.

I live near the coast, within five miles of Cardiff, the Capital of Wales. My main interest is in writing Crime Fiction and Thrillers. However, I have also written a full-length novel about a young child growing up in the nineteen-fifties, entitled According to Olwen. I have had short stories published in crime anthologies and magazines. My novel - Who is Sarah Lawson - reached the quarterfinals of the 2013 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award and I am a commissioned writer for the Food and Drink Guide. I am also a free-lance supporting artist for Film and Television and regularly work on productions, which include feature films and T.V. dramas and enjoy the inspiration this provides for my stories. My hobbies include reading, cycling, playing the piano (badly), walking and my passion is writing. Details of my novels can be found by visiting the Amazon and Createspace websites and at my web page www.kjrabane.com.
