I have been a writer all my life, but when I learned to meditate, it changed my creative process completely. No longer did I wait for the Muse to visit me; I met with her each day over my morning coffee. Feet flat on the floor, eyes closed--the words poured through me like water through a garden hose. Often I wrote with my eyes closed. Afterward, I often could not remember what I had written.

All writers have the power to connect with their own deep inner creative genius. This does not require quieting the mind, merely a practice of solitude and silence that allows the voice of Spirit to be heard.
