Tarot Basics: A Guide to Using & Interpreting the Cards

For newcomers to the world of tarot, learning how to learn about their lives and the past, present, and future of those around them using the cards may seem intimidating. This is the perfect introduction. This helpful book by experts Johannes Fiebig and Evelin Burger details everything an introductory tarot learner will need to know (and even a few things experts might find useful). Full-page explanations of each card are accompanied by illustrations from three foundational decks, the Rider-Waite-Smith, the Marseille, and Aleister Crowley’s Thoth Tarot. In addition, the book includes fifteen useful card layouts and intriguing advice on how to use your own intuition for spot-on readings. For everything from a single three-card reading to answer a question or start your day to special advanced spreads for fulfilling your ultimate desire, this is an easy-to-use pathway to new levels of understanding.

Evelin Burger and Johannes Fiebig have written more than 30 books on tarot, the interpretation of dreams, fairytales, and other symbols and oracles, which have been translated in more than 10 languages and have sold more than 1.7 million copies.
