Vintage book, like new. Dust jacket now in new removable protective cover. Beige/cocoa tweed boards with brown jungle scene on front, Tarzan on elephant. Brown printing on the spine. Plain end papers. Pages are clean and unmarked, with small illustration on title page. Grosset and Dunlap hardcover with dust jacket, 1950 edition but printed approx. 1958, 346 pages. Cover art by C. Edmund Monroe, Jr., and title page art by Rafael Palacios. 12mo (5" x 7.5") Printing dated to approx. 1958 because that's the year the publisher changed to plain end papers for this series. #10 in the Tarzan series.
