Early reprint of the fourth Tarzan adventure. Red boards gently bumped with a touch of rubbing at the edges. 1/4" faded spot to the upper spine where the jacket is chipped, small drip mark to the upper edge of the text block. Binding square and solid, previous owner's gift inscription, dated Dec. 25, 1929 on the front end paper. Jacket rubbed and slightly darkened with small chips and tears. Narrow straight line scuff across the front, 2" closed tear up the lower rear flap fold, in Brodart.
