Tarzan and the Lion Man

Bound in grey textured paper covered boards with blue ink-stamped title to front board and spine, top stained blue. Light tape glue mark (not abrasion) to front and rear boards, also effecting pastedowns, from offset of tape glue through boards, blue top stain faded, very slight shelf wear to head and heel of spine. Dust jacket with only minor shelf wear at head and heel of spine, a scuff runing up center of spine from heel for 1 inch. Pasted to front free endpaper is a notice from the publisher stating that the book is a survivor of a fire that took place in a store-room due to the spontaneous combustion of old Tarzan motion pictures. The fire took place in May 1958. The only evidence of fire is perhaps a light darkening to the paper of the rear board at inside edge above pastedown. Heins Li M-6.
