Tax Reform for Donkeys: How Democrats can get it RIGHT

Here’s how Democrats can reclaim capitalism in the name of the people. The Party might have given up on free markets too soon, seeing how corporations have perverted, twisted, and distorted them beyond all recognition. But if capitalism can be brought to heel while preserving its most noble attributes, democracy wins. We don’t need to soak the rich - much less eat them - to correct the fundamental imbalances in the economy. The egregious inequality in today’s economy was brought about by tax policy, and tax policy can rein it in. But the patches and fixes we’ve applied in the past don’t work - we need to finally address the root causes. This book gives Democrats a road map to correct the fundamental causes of economic inequality. Here’s a radical new federal tax system that gives every worker a 7.65% raise, eliminates the federal deficit, reduces unemployment, features a progressive tax schedule with a top rate of 36%, provides for a uniform standard deduction of $30,000, simplifies the system - and is actually GOOD for the largest American corporate employers. And it permanently eliminates the most important structural causes of economic inequality. Be skeptical, but take a look for yourself. This book is written for and directed to the DNC's leaders, influencers, and platform committee - and anybody who ever plans to vote.
