4to, quarter leather over marbled boards, complete with photographic frontispiece and three more plates, pp.238. Ex-library. Published in 1897, David Crole writes a 'practical and sufficiently comprehensive text-book for the great industry of Tea Planting and Manufacture'. Contains both informative prose and a number of tables and appendixes on the economics and chemistry of tea making at the turn of the century. Rebound in modern quarter leather. Ex-library copy with one stamp at title page and three at the back, plus a few at the lower edge of some pages. Significant foxing at title and half title. The internal margin of four leaves has been repaired with tape. Page 136 has been poorly repaired with tape but the text is perfectly legible. There a few pen marks throughout. A well rebound, internally good only copy with faults not hindering its readability.
