Missing DJ, slight sunning to spine. Some foxing to edges of reading block. ; 1960 with no other printings listed, original edition 1947. Blue embossed cloth boards with silver gilt lettering to dark blue spine panel, decorated endpapers. Nice tight copy, no names or marks inside. Heavy book and priced accordingly. ; Teach Yourself Series; 540 pages; HR Williamson was a missionary in China from 1908 to 1936 and this work is now somewhat dated as it uses the Wade Giles system. It comprises several dialogues and is of some interest and amusement as it is more in the style of how colonials would have spoken to servants back in the day.

We endeavour to describe our books accurately, but if you are dissatisfied in any way on receipt of order or wish to cancel the contract for any reason within seven days, which period is to start the day after the date on which the goods are received, in which case please contact us to arrange the return and refund of the cost of the goods and delivery.
