Concerns about the quality of teaching and learning in higher education have given rise to teacher development programs and centers around the world. About the Author

Eszter Simon is an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the University of Szeged and recurring visiting professor at the Economics University in Bratislava.

Gabriela Pleschová works as a staff development adviser at the Institute of Physics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava. She also teaches at the Department of East Asian Studies at Comenius University in Bratislava.
