This book is written by two award-winning instructors. Ken Rand and Kim Thomas met at an educational conference in Chicago, where Kim received her Illinois Teacher of the Year award. After a short but fruitful conversation, they quickly discovered that their teaching philosophies of connecting and engaging students were remarkably similar.
