My Teachers Are Monsters!

My teachers are monsters… and I’m not joking.

Meet Herbert Fidget—a perfectly normal school kid.
He has normal parents, normal school clothes, and normal friends.

But there’s just one small problem…

His teachers aren’t just strict—they’re real, actual monsters.
And that’s definitely not normal!

With slimy skin, snapping jaws, and a habit of shouting at children, every classroom hides a new nightmare. Every classroom, that is… except one.

As Herbert tries to survive music lessons with Ravenscream, P.E. with Brutal, and maths with The Shertal, he begins to wonder:

Why are all the teachers monsters?
And how can he stop them?

Join Herbert Fidget on a laugh-out-loud, slightly spooky, and wonderfully silly adventure where school has never been this strange—or this dangerous!

Perfect for readers aged 6–9 who love funny monster stories, and a touch of mischief.

R. W. Mitchell was born in West Sussex in the UK, where he grew up in the little village of Storrington. Later in life he trained as a Primary School teacher and lived in beautiful Brighton on the sunny South Coast of England. In 2011 he moved to Barcelona where the sun shines even brighter and he now spends his days writing stories and drawing illustrations. He greatly enjoys writing and illustrating magical adventures and hopes his readers enjoy reading them. In his spare time when he's not writing or drawing, R. W. Mitchell loves to go to the cinema as he loves movies, bakes cakes and greatly enjoys reading. He loves dogs and always has. His first job was a dog walker for two old ladies and hopes to one day write stories about his dog walking adventures!
