Teaching Methods Technologies

This book provides an effective encounter be- tween procedural and propositional knowl- edge or among the “what to do,” “how to do it” and “why to do it.” The “it” in question, of course, is teaching technology studies. Through the last two decades of the twentieth century, the state of the art changed so drasti- cally as to render obsolete traditional “how, what and why” books of teaching this subject. Theory and practice in technology studies have changed in unprecedented ways dur- ing the last twenty years. In design, technol- ogy, and information technology education, the conceptual changes in curriculum and instruction during this time are remarkable.
