Her acting lessons move from basic techniques to thinking and characterization skills, including Method acting. Her advice, clearly delineated in a step-by-step format, can be used by teachers, parents, camp directors, agents, or even therapists. Harmon's "Tips to Help the Very Young Child" is particularly useful because in this section she offers advice to redirect the lesson or the activities to meet the abilities and emotional needs of preschoolers.
