Team Building A La Card: Affordable Adaptations of Team Activities

Looking for some team activities that can be done on the cheap without compromising a quality experience? Whether you are a teacher, coach, adventure educator, or just someone seeking to enhance team dynamics within your group...and whether you are working with two or two hundred people, you'll find something useful in the pages of this book! Many of these games and challenges are adaptations of tried and true activities common in the team building industry. Playing cards offer a portable and affordable alternative to investing in large and expensive equipment. As the title suggests, these activities can be done "a la carte" by random selection or be sequenced to provide a more substantial experience.

Jon is an experiential educator who has worked with youth and adults offering team building, professional development, and leadership training in Memphis, TN for over a decade. As a professional facilitator and an amateur magician, he has a penchant for using ordinary playing cards in extraordinary ways.
