This is an adventurous rhyming story filled with humor from beginning to end. Willamena is a happy child who finds herself crying one day. Tears drip from her eyes one by one, but then add up all over the floor causing a flood that creates commotion in the neighborhood. Different characters come to her rescue trying to find the mysterious cause of it all and to keep the tears from washing everyone away! It's fun for children all ages.
Lisa Cooper is happily married and a mother of two young daughters,ages 9 and 11. She started writing humorous rhythmic rhymes when she was in highschool, but never actually set out to get them published. She wrote this story in 1998 and read it to her daughter's third grade class. The enthusiastic response from the students along with the inspirational giggles encouraged her to find an artist and have the book published. She's written 6 other stories similar to similar to this one and is currently preparing them for printing.
Lisa's background is working in the fields of cosmetology, promotions, entertainment and graphic design.
