About the Author

Sheldon Chrysler has been a radio technician for over twenty-five years. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Design with a minor in mathematics from Michigan State College in Denver, Colorado. He also has an Associate Science degree in Electronics Technology from Denver Community College, Dever, Colorado. While completing his college studies, he earned his commercial Radio Operator's License and Ham Operator's Licence. He has held a Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) Radio repairman's certificate since 1983. Sheldon is credited with designing and creating electronic circuits that are used both commercially and in aviation today. Before opening his own aircraft radio shop in 1982, he worked in several two-ways radio shops servicing C.B. and F.M. land and mobile and public safety radio systems. Currently, Sheldon is teaching adult education in aircraft electronics for the Denver Public School, Denver, Colorado.
