About the Author
Marianne Celce-Murcia is Professor of Applied Linguistics and Teaching English as a Second Language at the University of California, Los Angeles. She has taught in Nigeria, Canada, and Egypt, and has presented lectures, workshops, and short courses in many countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Japan, Singapore, Italy, France, Hungary, and Israel.
