The academic nature of this study centers on understanding if government suppliers are ready to use e-Procurement and also to examine the nature of the e-Procurement application within the government procurement system. The study contributes to the body of literature in the domain of technology adoption in public sector and within the context of e-Procurement systems more specifically.
