Technology Business Management (TBM) is a game changer for IT leaders. A methodology to plan, optimize, control, and collaborate about IT investments, TBM elevates IT organizations to the next maturity level by transforming their IT operating model. Mastering TBM helps IT leaders position their IT organizations more effectively.
Medium and large enterprises with annual IT budgets in the tens to hundreds of millions of dollars spend a significant portion operating and maintaining existing IT landscapes, leaving only the remainder for technology innovations. The new operating model of hybrid IT and agile product development makes cost control challenges inevitable.
This publication shows how TBM works, bringing the concept into action and bridging the gap between theory and practice. Start your TBM journey right here and find out how to implement TBM for substantial impact. Learn how to:
- Build cost allocation models and calculate service TCO.
- Formulate better IT value propositions through cost transparency.
- Manage cloud costs and hybrid IT scenarios.
- Avoid cost spirals in agile product developments.
- Rationalize IT service and vendor portfolios.
- Leverage variable IT spend to meet demand.
- Apply TBM insights to strengthen your leadership communication.
