Maintaining a focus on preparing students for all levels of the office environment, this text focuses on the technological changes currently taking place. It is designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the workplace, and to develop communication, human relations and time and stress management. This text was formerly named Office 2000: Technology & Procedures.

Dr. Patsy J. Fulton Calkins experience in the field is extensive. Her teaching experiences include work at the university, community college, and high school levels. In addition to her teaching experience, she has worked as an administrator in the following positions: Chancellor of Oakland Community College, Michigan; President of Brookhaven College, Dallas, Texas; Vice President of Instruction, El Centro College and Cedar Valley College, Dallas, Texas; Division Chairperson of Business and Social Science, Cedar Valley College, Dallas, Texas. Her present position involves consulting with universities and community colleges across the nation and adjunct teaching at the college level.
