The 22 black-and-white drawings contained in Teetering The Line were spontaneously created in bursts across the year of the artist’s emotional recovery, and were originally rendered in full color. Here the artist has extracted all of that formerly pulsing color to allow others to channel their own experience, interpretations, and creativity in its return, while inviting more attention, creativity, and contemplation—by you—in recoloring your own world by filling in the lines. Dan Drossman is a Brooklyn-based contemporary artist whose work encompasses fine art, street art, cartoon, and illustration. He holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York, and he and his work have been featured in publications such as Studio Visit Magazine, NY Arts, and Art Forum, and in ven- ues such as David Zwirner Gallery, and the Open Air Museum in Sardenia, Italy. Teetering The Line: an Adult Coloring Book is his first book.
