It is more thorough in each of these treatments than any preceding discussion, and reviews all of the major theories about the inscription, with a well-considered conclusion.

About the Author

George Athas received his Ph.D. from the University of Sydney. He is Director of Postgraduate Studies and Lecturer in Old Testament, Hebrew, and Church History at Moore College, in Sydney, Australia.
