Telelearning Via the Internet

The Internet and its different tools have brought momentous changes in the way people think, create, store, disseminate and acquire knowledge. Easier access to Internet information resources, the ability to find timely information from different sources such as online databases, and instantaneous communication with experts worldwide, have helped create innovative learning environments and opportunities for learners. These transformations have been reshaping the learning environment, whether in educational institutions or in professional organizations and have led to the emerging of the new phenomenon known as telelearning via the Internet.

Telelearning via the Internet discusses various aspects, issues and possibilities of using the Internet within an Internet-based telelearning and distance education environment. Telelearning via the Internet also provides an excellent coverage of organizational and managerial issues such as copyright, security, accreditation and cost effectiveness of telelearning via the Internet. It explores many possibilities in planning, designing, implementing and managing different opportunities of Internet technology in learning delivery programs. It is an excellent source for educators and trainers who would like to teach online courses via the Internet.
