_____Uncommon object from this Pottawatomie County ghost town._____ The exact location of Remus is so faded that even th US Geological Service cannot locate it._____ Given that, the "Remus Rural" may mean the area surrounding the even-then defunct metropolis. _____ In any case, this lists 239 subscribers, citing their phone numbers only, no addresses._____ More or less alphabetical._____ Only three appear to be businesses: Harjo Gin (we hope cotton), Harjo Grocery Store and the Jones Store._____ Several of the citizens are listed by their surnames only, no given names. _____ There are 12 box ads at the head and foot of the pages._____ All of these are located in the nearby Maud, Harjo or Shawnee, Oklahoma. _____ The heavy cardstock covers were spine split, now archivally repaired._____Not in WorldCat (02/23)._____.
