viii, [9]-264 pages, frontispiece, illuminated title, and 5 tissue guarded plates as called for, but lacking front free endpaper and the presentation plate. All edges gilt (faded). Leather rubbed; half of upper hinge split (board remains well attached). Foxing to plates and adjacent leaves, and the occasional spot elsewhere. Binding is sound. 7.4 x 5.3 inches.
