Very good condition hardback dark green boards with gilt decoration on front boards with the title enterprise and adventure with a decoration in the centre of the board in gilt. Author and title etc clearly shown on spine in gilt. 442 pages gilt edged all the way round, good and clean with clear print. Corners of boards bumped a little. Presentation sticker inside front board: St. Ives Academy midsummer 1887 1st class prize presented to Master W Jacobs by Mr. Rowe. Frontispiece: in black and white, Argo watching for the signals.
