Ten Dog Tails

Ten different stories in ten different parts of the U.S. told by the pets voices, as you hear them share their lives with you. Each one is unique and heart felt, reaching into the depth of their emotions, fears and joy. Come along with them and hear their stories. Wander with Kirby, the runaway. Giggle with Mimsey, the little menace. Learn from Willie and Brady, Service Hearing dogs. Feel for Skippy McRuff, the diabetic dog. Listen to the Foley guys. Laugh with Harry and the Pool Table. Smile with Harley and the Boys and enjoy Lola, the Escape Artist. Sigh with Duke and Daisey, the Sweethearts and last, but not least, cry with Freedom, the Homeless dog.

I have written three other books of fiction. This will be my fourth and I wanted to do a different genre to get a feeling for what I like writing best of all, so I chose to write about animals because I care about them dearly. My love of writing started when I was quite young, but several years ago during a personal crisis in Florida during a hurricane, I turned to writing seriously and found my passion turned into love for the art. Writing is a part of me now and who I am. I live in Colorado with my husband and three maltese pets. We moved here five years ago from Florida and I do enjoy the dry climate. My special interests are Tai Chi, studying ASL (American Sign Language) and fitness. I walk daily and love to hike with friends. Music is important to me and I enjoy opera, pop and 50's music.
