"Five men and five women comprise the group of Ten. Their purpose for being is to take on assignments from government agencies to solve problems of domestic and international entities, generated by criminals, psychotics, and terrorists.
Descriptions of the Ten: professional expertise, backgrounds, physical looks, likes, dislikes, and phobias. Each of the men has been recruited by the head of the group, General Horton, or recommended by American governmental agencies: military or special ops administrators.
There is intrigue, mystery, clashes, love interests, and problems among the group, and details regarding relationships among the group and how they solve their problems and handle outside threats and continuing danger and assaults from their stalking enemy.
How this group treats threats of bombing, personal injury, maiming, and death is the strength of this unique group of people. This evil entity believes the Ten has stolen a lot of money from them and wants to get it back however they can. Their eyes are on using the individuals of the Ten to attain their goal.
Time after time, members of the group are stalked, menaced, and injured. A security policy is adopted to ensure the personal safety of each person. New guards are hired and trained for this duty.
Things are quiet for a while, until one of the members, on leave in another country, is followed, ambushed, beaten, and left for dead. Search and rescue teams of both countries are using informants and dogs to attempt locating this member. They located the member, lying in a ditch and near death. He is hospitalized, identified, and returned to the group."
