Tenacious: One Man's Lifelong Struggle for Justice follows the story of

American hero George Washington Hall. From civil rights demonstrations and

law enforcement's abuse of power to his own rise to state trooper and county

sheriff - while continuing to actively farm his family's land - he fought injustice

at every turn. Undergirded by a strong faith, his struggles led him to become

a lead plaintiff in the Black Farmers' lawsuit (Pigford v. Glickman) against

the USDA. Throughout his struggles against racism and discrimination, Hall

maintained his integrity and lived a life of service to his community long after

others would have caved. In a word, George Washington Hall is tenacious.

George Washington Hall lives in Greene County, Alabama, where he continuesto farm his land and fight injustice.

L.R. Turochy lives in Delaware with her husband. She has a degree in historyeducation from the University of Delaware. She remains passionate abouthistory, education, truth, and justice.
