Robert J. Toth is a writer and editor in New York City. Over the years, he has written two novels and several screenplays, and has contributed numerous essays and articles to The Wall Street Journal, Find the Fish and Official Steely Dan | Home Page. His passion for gaming dates back to 1981 and the Dungeons & Dragons "basic" set, which his mother bought for him after reading Rona Jaffe's "Mazes and Monsters." Her intentions were unclear at the time of this writing.
