He existed before the creation of the world, up to the generation of the Son. For before all things God was alone--being in Himself and for Himself universe, and space, and all things. About the Author

Alexander Souter (1973-1949) was a Scottish biblical scholar. As a professor at Mansfield College, Oxford he taught New Testament Greek and Exegesis. His primary areas of study were the text of the New Testament and early Latin commentaries on the Pauline epistles.
