About this title

Synopsis

Discover how you can translate simple interlocking patterns into stunning pieced patchwork quilt designs. Nine tessellating block designs explored in detail, with over 45 quilts illustrating how the blocks can be used in different ways, whether it be choice of fabrics and colours, or the way in which the blocks are set. Step-by-step instructions are given for making 11 of the quilts shown, with exceptional written instructions and working diagrams from this respected teacher and author. A gallery of tessellation quilts by well-respected quiltmakers, and a resource of additional tessellating patterns will provide further inspiration for more experienced quilters to use in their future work.
