Testament of Solomon

In The Testament of Solomon, you are invited to unlock the secrets of an ancient manuscript that bridges the gap between biblical history and the mystical occult. While traditionally excluded from the standard biblical canon, this "pseudepigraphal" work has exerted a profound influence on Western esoteric traditions, from the medieval grimoires to modern psychological explorations of the shadow self. It presents a world where the King of Israel is not merely a judge and builder, but a divine architect who holds the key to the spirit world.

The narrative follows Solomon as he encounters a series of formidable demons, each representing a specific illness, vice, or obstacle to human flourishing. Armed with a magical seal ring bestowed upon him by the Archangel Michael, Solomon interrogates these entities, forcing them to reveal their names, their planetary influences, and the specific angels who have the power to thwart them. As the spirits are bound to assist in the building of the Temple of Jerusalem, a fascinating taxonomy of the supernatural emerges. This is a story of power, temptation, and the relentless pursuit of wisdom in the face of cosmic opposition.

This modern edition provides a clear and authoritative translation of this complex text, making its intricate system of names and symbols accessible to the contemporary reader.
