John resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with Sue, his cherished wife of thirty-four years. Their sons Brian and James are both married, and their granddaughter Emma is a constant delight. The Meachams are both originally from Hickory, North Carolina. They are graduates of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and are very active in their church. When their busy schedules allow, they love spending time together in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
