Testing the Doctrine of Original Sin: Does Calvinism's "Total Depravity" Condemn the Preborn Infant? (A Biblical Response to the Reformed Theology of (Paperback or Softback)

About eight months before he died, R. C. Sproul summarized his position on the main tenets of Calvinism. This booklet concisely compares the doctrines of Calvin—as presented and promoted by Dr. Sproul—with the inspired Word of God in a way that is approachable and clear to Christians seeking answers to these questions:

• Do preborn and infant babies go to heaven when they die? What about young children?
• Has God already determined who can be saved and who cannot?
• Do I have any choice in the matter—or am I simply a pawn on God’s chessboard of life and death?
• Why should I or anyone share the gospel, as Jesus commanded, if God has foreordained all our eternal destinies?
• Why, in Psalm 51:5, do some Bible versions clearly state that King David was conceived as a sinner and others do not?
• Is the statement, “We sin because we are sinners” biblical?

These questions, and many more, have divided the church for more than 500 years. It’s now time to rightly divide the Word of Truth.
