Contents include nutrition and growth, fruits and seed, reproduction, and the vascular cryptogams.Lowson was the headmaster of the Burgh Technical School and Head of the Science Departments in the High School and the Royal Academy, Inverness. In original publisher's cloth binding. Externally with some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, and some wear to the spine, particularly the head of the spine. The hinges are starting but firm. Includes ink inscription from prior owner to the first free endpapers dated 1919.There is some spotting to the endpapers, but bright and clean throughout. Good.
