Hardback, 8.75 x 5.5 inches. Illustrated paper covered boards, black and red design to front. Red cloth binding to spine. In good condition. (Fair) Edges rubbed and bumped, cloth split along spine and chipped at ends. Small bump/tear nr top corner of rear board. Endpapers darkened, neat inscription to front, ?A.R. Box.? Some occasional handling marks, minor faint water stain to edges of some plates. Else overall a clean and tight copy. 95pp. Illustrated with 35 B&W photo plates, including frontis portrait. Commonly known as Peerless Jim, was a Welsh boxer who learned his trade in the boxing ring and used it to fight his way out of poverty. Driscoll was British featherweight champion and won the coveted Lonsdale belt in 1910. Seller Inventory # 94330
