Written by Danish oral surgery researchers J. O. Andreasen and F. M. Andreasen, it covers mechanical, periodontal and pulpal tissue trauma, wound healing, emergency treatment for luxation injuries and avulsions, tooth autotransplantation, endodontic therapy and alveolar bone reconstruction. The material is arranged for general dentists, pediatric specialists and maxillofacial surgeons. Hundreds of full-color clinical photographs, micrographs and multi-color anatomical diagrams by Lars Thorsen and Henning Dahlhop run through the volume. Statistical life-table analyses and biological response models give evidence-based prognoses for long-term tissue survival, alongside diagnostic algorithms and step-by-step surgical procedures. Histological research and macro clinical photography carry the chapters on pulpal and periodontal healing. Munksgaard first issued the work in 1972 and expanded it in 1994, which fed the clinical guidelines later adopted by the International Association of Dental Traumatology. Jens Ove Andreasen was chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University Hospital of Copenhagen; Frances M. Andreasen contributed research on pulp revascularization and hard tissue resorption. DOMESTIC SHIPPING:
We offer a choice of media mail (when applicable), first class, priority and/or expedited whenever possible. Choices for shipping methods vary and will appear at checkout (as well as additional opportunities to purchase insurance, extra insurance, etc.). All domestic orders include tracking.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

All international orders include tracking and insurance. Expedited orders generally ship via USPS, DHL or Priority Mail International depending on the destination. Consolidated shipping is usually via Asendia or a similar, reliable carrier.
