Tha Last Command: When the Right Decision Costs Everything, A Jack Setter Submarine Thriller

Jack Setter has lost his submarine. Now he may lose everything else.

USS Subzero is gone.

Nine sailors are dead.

And Commander Jack Setter must answer for the decisions that sent one of America’s most advanced nuclear submarines to the bottom.

The Navy does not need a villain. It needs to understand whether Setter’s actions under fire were the judgement of a captain trying to save his crew, or the decisions of a commander who crossed a line.

While he waits for the court martial that could end his career, another crisis begins beneath the South China Sea.

American and Chinese forces are moving closer.

An underwater weapon is behaving in ways nobody fully understands.

And one wrong interpretation could turn a submarine encounter into something far larger.

Setter is sent into the theatre for one reason.

Not to command.

To advise.

Working beside another highly capable submarine captain, Jack must confront the hardest challenge of his career, solving a threat without the authority, boat or crew that once defined him.

Because this time, the right decision may not be the one that wins.

It may be the one that stops everyone from firing.

The Last Command is a tense, character driven submarine thriller about command, responsibility, judgement and the price of making impossible decisions with lives at stake.

The Last Command is Book Three and the final novel in the Jack Setter Submarine Thrillers, following USS Subzero and The Silent Boat.

And the subtitle we already locked is:

When the Right Decision Costs Everything.
