Nine volume set of the complete works of William Makepeace Thackeray, published in 1888 at Boston by Estest & Lauriat. Electrotyped by C.J. Peters and Son, Presswork by Berwick and Smith.Hardcover books in very good condition. Bound in copper red boards with gilt titling on spine. Shelf wear evident at head and foot of spine on each volume. Volume two has a small puncture tear over the gilt titling, but this does not affect the binding. Each copy is tightly bound, with no loose pages or end papers. Evenly yellowed, with very minor foxing to end papers. As this is a nine volume set, additional shipping charges may apply. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 1.5 lbs, or 0.7 kg. If your book
order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
We ship out of the U.S. every Tuesday because it will save the customer
money. US and International orders are processed on Mondays, if you place your order on Monday evening,
your book will be shipped the following Tuesday from the U.S.
If you would prefer to have the book shipped within a day of your order from Canada,
we will charge Canadian postal rates which are significantly more expensive.
