Theism and Cosmology: Being the First Series of a Course of Gifford Lectures on the General Subject of Metaphysics and Theism Given in the U

The book ""Theism and Cosmology"" is a collection of lectures delivered by John Laird at the University of Glasgow in 1939. The lectures are part of a series on the general subject of metaphysics and theism. The book explores the relationship between theism and cosmology, with a focus on how the concept of God relates to the scientific understanding of the universe. Laird discusses various philosophical and theological arguments for the existence of God, as well as scientific theories about the origins and nature of the universe. The book is intended for readers interested in the intersection of philosophy, theology, and science, and provides a thought-provoking exploration of these complex topics. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
