Item description from seller

First edition. Square 8vo; 8 pp.; 37 plates from plans and drawings, loose as issued. A very good copy in a good slipcase. One of the series of small portfolios published by the students of the School of Design at Raleigh, NC. This contains two studies: a schematic description of a building for a World's Fair which attempts to formulate a set of questions and to evolve a set of assumptions; an elementary compilation of geometrical information about two surfaces that may have an application in the construction of buildings.
